The Knight Hawks defeated the San Antonio Gunsligners 35-28 on Saturday afternoon at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas.

NOTES
Quentin Randolph ran in for the opening score of the game at 11:59 of the first. This was his first rushing score of the season.
San Antonio answered five-minutes later and tied the game at 7-7 at the end of the first.
San Antonio opened the second quarter with a rushing score. Jayden De Laura answered with a 13-yard touchdown pass to CJ Windham Jr at 6:39.
The Vegas defense put together a highlight reel on the final three plays of San Antonio's final possession of the half.  Claude Davis recorded a sack, then Makel Calhoun recorded a sack, and newcomer Elijah Blade picked off quarterback Guy Myers in the endzone.
The halftime score was 14-13 in favor of the Gunslingers.
The teams opened the second half by trading rushing scores.
Following a Gunslinger turnover on downs, De Laura marched Vegas down the field and found Randolph for the first Knight Hawk lead, 27-21.
San Antonio quickly retook the lead, 28-27, at 9:22 in the fourth. This was their fourth rushing touchdown of the afternoon.
A Tamorrion Terry touchdown catch at 5:38 put Vegas back on top, 35-28.
With less than one minute remaining in the game, the Knight Hawks defense forced a turnover on downs and secured the win.

The Vegas Knight Hawks will come back home to play the Northern Arizona Wrangers on Saturday, May 3 for Military Appreciation Knight. This will be the first of three meetings between the Knight Hawks and the Wranglers this season.
