The Knight Hawks fell in the third and final meeting with the San Diego Strike Force, 42-39, on Sunday evening at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

NOTES
The Vegas offense found their game early as it only took them four plays to find the endzone on their opening possession, taking a 6-0 lead. Six minutes later, San Diego tied the game with a six-yard touchdown pass from Nate Davis to Dallas Daniels.
The first quarter ended with the score tied at 6-6.
The second quarter began with the Strike Force making their first field goal attempt and taking a 9-6 lead. Vegas and San Diego then traded touchdown passes raising the score to 16-13.
Ja'Rome Johnson retook the lead for Vegas, 19-16, on his second rushing touchdown 12-minutes into the second quarter.
With a quarterback run of their own, San Diego retook the lead going into halftime, 23-19.
The second half began with three scores in three minutes, two rushing touchdowns by San Diego and a kickoff returned for a score by
Antonio Wimbush.
After the explosion of offense to begin the quarter, the defenses stepped up on both sides holding the offenses scoreless in the final 9 minutes of the third. San Diego held the lead going into the final frame, 35-26.
Jayden De Laura entered the game for an injured
Ja'Rome Johnson to start the fourth. His first completion was a 41-yard passing touchdown to
CJ Jefferson. This cut the Strike Force lead to three, 35-32 with 13-minutes left in the contest.
Wimbush's second touchdown of the game gave Vegas a 39-35 lead with seven-minutes to go in the game.
With three-seconds remaining, San Diego's Rudy Johnson ran in to give San Diego the 42-39 lead.
Ben Derby's last-second field goal attempt was wide right.
NEXT TIME OUT
Next Saturday the Vegas Knight Hawks will be back at home to take on the Arizona Rattlers for the second and final time this season. Arizona took the first of the two meetings, 50-47, in Week 9. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT at Lee's Family Forum.
