Week 3 at Tucson
On Sunday, March 29, the Vegas Knight Hawks will head to the site of their 2025 IFL National Championship win, Tucson Arena, to faceoff with the Sugar Skulls. This will be the first meeting between the teams this season.
NOTES:
Vegas is coming off a week 2 bye week, following a 37-35 loss to the Green Bay Blizzard in week 1. Quarterback Jayden De Laura threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns. Phoenix Sproles led all receivers with 60 yards and a touchdown. Quentin Randolph had 41-all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns.
Linebacker Ian McBorrough led Vegas with eight tackles and one tackle-for-loss. Clifton Duck had six tackles and forced a fumble. Fred Flavors had six tackles and a fumble recovery.
In 2025, Vegas and Tucson played twice in 2025 with the Knight Hawks winning both games, 59-55 in Tucson and 55-18 in Vegas.
OPPOSITION UPDATE:
Tucson did not play a game in either week 1 or week 2. This will be the first test for a new group of Sugar Skulls, including an all-new coaching staff led by Rayshaun Kizer. Kizer served as the defensive coordinator in Tucson for the past two seasons.
