VEGAS KNIGHT HAWKS TRIUMPH OVER RATTLERS, 55-54, AT HOME

Derrius Guice and Daquan Neal both led the Knight Hawks’ offense with two touchdowns each.

The Vegas Knight Hawks defeated the Arizona Wranglers, 55-54, at The Dollar Loan Center on Saturday evening. Derrius Guice and Daquan Neal both led the Knight Hawks' offense with two touchdowns each. 

Guice opened the scoring for the Knight Hawks with a rushing touchdown. But Arizona were quick to respond with a touchdown of their own just 25 seconds later. Their two-point conversion gave the Rattlers their first lead of the game. 

But Vegas finished out the first quarter with a 40-yard touchdown pass from Neal to Malik Honeycutt. They finished the first quarter with a lead, 14-8. 

The Knight Hawks extended their lead in the second quarter with a rushing touchdown from Neal. Although the Rattlers would erase that lead with a rushing touchdown of their own, Neal responded with his second of the quarter to re-extend the lead. 

Arizona drew within two late in the second quarter. But Jordan McCray got on the board with his first touchdown of the night to make it a 35-26 game. 

The Rattlers would score again in the final seconds of the half to cut the Knight Hawks' lead to just one point. 

Arizona had their strongest performance of the game in the third quarter, scoring an early opening touchdown to take a 42-35 lead. They then extended that lead by another six. 
But Quentin Randolph brought the Knights back within one touchdown to finish the third quarter. 

Guice then tied the game at 48 to open the final quarter of the game. He would score his second touchdown of the game late in regulation, with Steve Artigue's extra point earning the Knight Hawks a 55-54 victory.
