Box Score The Vegas Knight Hawks fell to the Arizona Rattlers, 63-39, on the road on Saturday evening.
The Rattlers opened up the scoring first, but the Knight Hawks were quick to answer back with a touchdown from
Caleb Holley.
The two teams exchanged touchdowns for most of the first quarter. Arizona re-extended their lead with a touchdown shortly after Holley's.
But the Knight Hawks responded with a touchdown from
Quentin Randolph to bring them back within one.
Arizona opened the second quarter with another touchdown, but
Jordan McCray caught a 23-yard pass to make it a 21-20 in favor of the Rattlers. Although Arizona added another,
Daquan Neal responded with a rushing touchdown, his fourth over the last two games, to maintain a close game.
The Rattlers scored twice more before halftime to make it a 42-27 game heading into the second half.
Arizona added three unanswered touchdowns in the third quarter to give the team a 56-27 lead. But the Knight Hawks battled back with a touchdown from Derrius Guice to make it a 56-33 game.
The Rattlers then added another touchdown in the fourth quarter to give them a 30-point lead.
Jonathan Johnson cut their lead to 24 with a touchdown late in the game, but the Knight Hawks were unable to complete the comeback and fell to the Rattlers, 63-39.
