NOTES:
The San Diego Strike Force will make their first trip to Vegas this season to take on the undefeated Knight Hawks. Vegas continued the best start in team history with their sixth win of the season against the Bay Area Panthers last week. San Diego bounced back after back-to-back losses with their own victory over Northern Arizona in week 8.
The Knight Hawks' defensive backs will look to have a big game against the second-best pass attack in the IFL. The Knight Hawks lead the league with nine interceptions in 2024. Defensive back
Bryce Hampton, who is tied for first in the IFL with four interceptions in six games, leads that group. Joining him in the secondary is
James Ceasar, who has 29 solo tackles and seven pass breakups this season.
OPPOSITION UPDATE:
Led by quarterback Nate Davis, San Diego passes over twice as much as they run the ball. Although eight different receivers have a touchdown this year, Jordan Kress and Arthur Jackson III are the primary weapons. Each has 21 receptions, but Jackson III leads in yardage and touchdowns with 258 yards and 10 scores respectively.
Linebacker Sherrod Williams is San Diego's biggest defensive weapon. He leads the team with 36 total tackles and five and a half tackles for loss. Vegas' own elite pair of linebackers,
Makel Calhoun and Gabe McCoy, give the offense a chance to sharpen their steel before gameday.
