KNIGHT HAWKS DROP THIRD STRAIGHT GAME TO STORM, 46-40

Box Score The Vegas Knight Hawks fell to the Sioux Falls Storm, 46-40, in overtime on Saturday evening. It marked their third straight loss of the season.

Sioux Falls scored first thanks to a rushing touchdown from Loren Brown Jr.

But wide receiver Caleb Holley was quick to respond and put the Knight Hawks on the board with just under seven to go in the first quarter. A good kick from Kevin Macias allowed Vegas to take their first lead of the game.

Brown added his second touchdown of the quarter to put the Storm back in front, 13-7.

Quentin Randolph found the endzone with a minute left in the first to give the Knight Hawks a one-point lead once again.

Bryson Denley put Sioux Falls back in front with his first touchdown of the game. Dean Sarris then tacked on a field goal to make it 23-14 late in the second.

Holley responded with a 33-yard grab to bring the Knight Hawks within three headed into the second half.

Vegas found themselves back in front, 28-23, thanks to Holley's third touchdown of the game early in the third.

Claude Davis recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown with under five left in the quarter to give Sioux Falls another three-point lead.

Macias added a field goal to tie the game at 31, then a deuce on the opening kickoff to make it 33-31 in favor of the Knight Hawks.

Sioux Falls responded with another touchdown from Denley.

Ja'Rome Johnson's first touchdown of the game gave Vegas a three-point lead with just five seconds left in regulation.

But as time expired, Sarris kicked a game-tying field goal. Sioux Falls scored on their first possession of OT thanks to a touchdown from Carlos Thompson. Elijah Reed then sealed a 46-40 Storm victory with an endzone interception on Vegas's first attempt.

The Knight Hawks will return to the turf on Saturday, June 15, where they will take on the Duke City Gladiators on the road.
