On Saturday, May 31 the Arizona Rattlers will travel to Lee's Family Forum to take on the Vegas Knight Hawks. This will be the second meeting between the teams in 2025 and first time that the Rattlers will play in Henderson since winning the 2024 IFL Championship. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT
NOTES:
Vegas is looking to overcome back-to-back losses against the Rattlers and the Strike Force. Each game was lost by three-points and Vegas held a lead late in each contest. Last week against San Diego, both of Vegas' quarterbacks saw game action when
Jayden De Laura came in for an injured
Ja'Rome Johnson. Johnson threw for 98-yards and a touchdown, and De Laura threw for 74-yards and a touchdown. Receiver
CJ Jefferson had his best game of the season with 71 receiving yards and a 46-yard touchdown catch late in the fourth quarter.
The Knight Hawks special teams played a large role last week as running back
Antonio Wimbush had 169-yards on seven kick-returns. One of his returns was brought back 55-yards for a touchdown. His efforts were recognized by the league as he was named the IFL Special Teams Player of the Week. He is the first Knight Hawk player this season to be given the recognition on offense, defense, or special teams.
OPPOSITION UPDATE:
Arizona currently boasts the best record in the league at 7-1 and they have the top-ranked offense in the IFL, scoring over 50 points per game. The Rattlers are on a three-game winning streak in which they have scored 50 or more points in each win.
Quarterback Dalton Sneed leads the league in passing yards with 1,403 yards in eight games. He is also second in the league in passing touchdowns with 28.

Tickets are still available for Kids Day on Saturday, May 31. Vegas will play their second game against the Rattlers. The first 1,500 fans ages 14 & under will receive a Knight Hawks youth football jersey. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT.
