NOTES
Vegas opened the scoring two and-a-half minutes into the contest with an
Antonio Wimbush touchdown run. Northern Arizona answered immediately by returning the ensuing kickoff back for a touchdown. A missed PAT made the score 7-6.

Jayden De Laura found a wide-open
CJ Windham Jr. on the following drive to increase the Knight Hawks lead to eight points.
The teams then traded rushing scores raising the score to 21-13 Vegas.
The second quarter began with the Vegas defense shutting down the Wranglers on fourth down.
Mike Carrigan would capitalize on the good field position by running in his first score of the game.
Lorenzo Hernandez and
Maurice Jackson combined for a sack on fourth down giving Vegas the ball inside the NAZ 10-yard line. Three plays later, De Laura would score a seven-yard touchdown run.
Northern Arizona could not advance the ball out of the endzone on the ensuing kickoff and Vegas was awarded a one-point rouge. The Knight Hawks held a 36-13 lead with three minutes left in the first half.
The Wranglers attempt to score before the half ended was spoiled by
Rome Weber securing his second interception of the season.
With seven seconds left in the half, De Laura found Wimbush for his second touchdown of the game giving Vegas a 30-point lead. Going into the half,
James Ceasar recorded his third interception of the season.
The Vegas defense recorded their third stop on fourth down setting the offense up with a first-and-goal. Wimbush would score his third touchdown shortly thereafter.
On the following drive Northern Arizona scored their first points since the first quarter with 4:47 left in the third, cutting the Vegas lead to 49-21.
Wimbush scored his fourth touchdown of the game, pushing the score up to 56-21.
The teams then traded interceptions at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
The Wranglers scored with just under nine minutes left in the game, lowering the Knight Hawk lead, 56-29.
With just under four minutes left in the contest, Northern Arizona found the endzone following an onside kick recovery, chipping away at the Vegas lead, 56-35.
The Wranglers once again attempted an onside kick. This one however was recovered and returned for a touchdown by offensive lineman
Desmond Bland.
Northern Arizona scored a late touchdown with less than one minute in the game making the final score 63-43 in favor of the Knight Hawks.
NEXT TIME OUT
Next Saturday the Vegas Knight Hawks will be back at home to take on the Bay Area Panthers. This will be the first meeting between the Panthers and Knight Hawks this season. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. PT at Lee's Family Forum.
