On Saturday, July 19 the Northern Arizona Wranglers will make their second trip to Henderson to play the Vegas Knight Hawks at Lee's Family Forum.

NOTES:

The Vegas Knight Hawks are one week removed from a nail-biting loss to the Bay Area Panthers. Down seven points with one second left on the clock, Jayden De Laura found CJ Windham Jr. in the endzone to come within one point of tying the game. After failing to convert a game winning two-point attempt, Vegas fell 55-54.

This will be the third and final time the Wranglers and Knight Hawks will meet in 2025, with Vegas winning the first two contests. The first was a 43-37 victory in Henderson, and the second was a 63-43 Vegas win in Prescott Valley.

Following last week's losses by Vegas and Tucson and a win by the Arizona Rattlers, the playoff picture is coming more into focus. Should Vegas come away with a victory or Tucson fall to Bay Area this week, Vegas will clinch a playoff berth. Due to the remaining IFL schedule, the best seed that the Knight Hawks can finish with is #3. This would require Vegas winning out and San Diego losing out.

OPPOSITION UPDATE:

Northern Arizona is coming off of their second win of the season against the Tucson Sugar Skulls, 61-55. This snapped a six-game losing streak, their second of the season. The Wrangler offense and defense both rank 13 out of 14 teams in the IFL. The Wranglers score an average of 36.5 points per game while allowing 46.7 points per game.

The team is led by quarterback Ramone Atkins who has 1230 yards and 21 passing touchdowns on the year. Defensively, the Knight Hawks will key in on Kieran Page, who ranks ninth in the league with 64.5 tackles through 12 games.
